It will be a global tasting experience where the motto is ‘‘a little adventure in every bite’’. Timbuktu has created an ambient environment reflecting a vintage travel aesthetic that it hopes will see customers connect with the timeless aspiration for adventure and new experience. Timbuktu is a takeaway food outlet with a focus on cabinet food rather than made to order dishes. It will have a core component of regular dishes on offer as it recognise the need for our customers to have familiarity at the same time as the opportunity to try new culinary experiences. In addition to regular dishes which showcase a spectrum of popular street food, it will also have an ongoing fortnightly ‘‘destination location’’. This will be where the pin is located on its vintage globe, a visual focus at the till. During each showcase period Timbuktu will explore the local foods from that location. A natural place to land for the first fortnight was Italy so expect some lovely Italian fare in the first two weeks. On top of providing for a Stylish new cafe Timbuktu will take your tastebuds on a journey around the globe. daytime breakfast and lunch service, Timbuktu will be launching a take home dinner packs system to provide for the commuter market (date to be confirmed) and will also offer out catering for events.
