Inset: SeaLink general manager Todd Bolton. FERRY group SeaLink is back under New Zealand ownership after seven years in Australian hands. General manager Todd Bol- ton says it's business as usual'' after the business quietly'' reverted to being a New Zealand-owned company in a 100 percent shareholding sale to investor Lyncroft Properties. The sale includes vessels, property, plant, leases and licences and was effective from October 1. SeaLink company chair- man Giuliano Ursini flew in to Auckland to make the announcement and to thank the SeaLink New Zealand team for the loyal support it has shown over the past seven years. Mr Ursini assured SeaLink personnel that the new owner's policy would be busi- ness as usual'' starting on Monday morning. SeaLink operates ferries between Half Moon Bay and Kennedy Point and also runs services to Great Barrier Island. Mr Ursini says the Aust- ralian company is delighted that SeaLink will further prosper with a passionate New Zealand individual who has strong business principles and values''. The new owner's vision for the company is that it will grow mostly from the inspi- ration of the people within.'' Mr Ursini says he expects no significant changes to the company's operations.
