Waiheke Marketplace : August 22nd 2012
www.waihekemarketplace.co.nz 19 WAIHEKE MARKETPLACE, AUGUST 22, 2012 Join us for the SeaLink Jassy Dean Trust Garden Safari 10 - 11 November 2012... The Jassy Dean Trust was established in 1992 after local teenager Jassy Dean died of meningococcal meningitis. To acknowledge the generous support they received from the community, Jassy's parents started the trust to help other sick Waiheke children and their families in times of a child's illness. Through the years the trust has helped countless kids. Its annual spring fundraiser is the SeaLink Jassy Dean Trust Garden Safari. This year 13 garden owners are already working hard so they can open up their properties to the public on November 10 and 11, to raise funds for the trust. The safari committee is buzzing with ideas, and Rangihoua Estate is also helping out by opening its doors to host a mammoth plant sale fundraiser over safari weekend. Waiheke Marketplace is on board with the trust, producing 10,000 copies of its garden safari brochure which will be delivered to all homes with the newspaper, and handed out to every ticket holder. The safari is also sponsored region-wide with promotion through Suburban Newspapers Auckland. If your business would like to contribute to the offcial SeaLink Jassy Dean Trust Garden Safari brochure email Dene Priestley -- firstname.lastname@example.org or Gail Hughes -- gail.hughes@ snl.co.nz or phone Waiheke Marketplace on 372-9231. www.waihekemarketplace.co.nz ...to the fowers I whisper the secrets I keep and the hopes I breathe...
