It will be collected in the week starting 23 October. Zone B Put your inorganic material out on the kerbside on the weekend 27 28 October. It will be collected in the week starting 29 October. Zone C Put your inorganic material out on the kerbside on the weekend 3 4 November. It will be collected in the week starting 5 November. We dont collect: garden waste recyclable material paint (water or oil-based) hazardous material commercial hazardous and medical waste building and trade waste car or machinery parts heavy or excessive waste. Please ensure any inorganic rubbish items you put out for collection are neatly stacked so they do not endanger pedestrians or obstruct footpaths or access ways. Do not put out rubbish before the notifed dates as it is classed as illegal dumping and could attract a fne of up to $400. Remember, you are responsible for your inorganic rubbish until the point of pick-up by Auckland Council. Roadside rubbish: The inorganic collection starts next week. Start clearing out the cupboards, sleepouts and sheds as the Wai- heke Island bienniel inorganic col- lection is set to start next week. The collection allows residents to put out items that would usu- ally cost money to dump at the Ostend transfer station like old appliances, furniture, carpet and bikes. All items should be able to be lifted by two people. Material collected at the inor- ganic collection is taken straight to landfill. The collection will be done in three phases and Auckland Coun- cil is warning residents to wait until their allotted week. Rubbish put out before the notified dates is classed as illegal dumping and could attract a fine of up to $400. Residents who live between the western reaches of the island and the Surfdale and Palm Beach bor- ders can start putting out their inorganic rubbish on the kerbside on the weekend of October 20 and 21. It will be collected during the week starting October 23. Residents living on the north side of the island between Palm Beach and Onetangi can put out their inorganic matter over the weekend of October 27 and 28. It will be collected in the week start- ing October 29. All those living to the east and south from Rocky Bay to Orapiu can put out their inorganic material on the weekend of November 3 and 4 and it will be collected in the week starting November 5.
